Join us for a special lecture & discussion celebrating the 124th birthday of Charles Hamilton Houston, Harvard Law alumnus and “The Man Who Killed Jim Crow.” Houston was a civil rights leader & NAACP litigator, mentor to a generation of lawyers – including Thurgood Marshall – as Vice Dean of Howard Law School, and architect of the strategy that led to landmark cases like Brown v. Board of Education.
Professor Randall Kennedy will deliver remarks, followed by a discussion led by Professor Ken Mack.
This event is free and open to the public.
