2009 Bishop Richard Allen Lecture Series

On November 4th, 2008, Barack Obama won the overwhelming support of Americans as the next president of the United States. As we assess his election, the African American community will have to make sure that its concerns are part of President Obama’s agenda to improve the life and conditions for all Americans. Professor Ogletree will give an overview and then moderate a panel of community leaders that will address Black America’s agenda for President Obama.
