Reading Frederick Douglass Together
Thursday, July 2 at noon
The 4th of July needs Frederick Douglass now more than ever. For over a decade we’ve gathered on the Boston Common to share a reading of his powerful speech. This year, at a moment when we need to take care of each other and each other’s health, we will hold our Boston reading as a live virtual event. More details are coming soon. We look forward to being together in spirit.
Join us for our annual event with our partners Mass Humanities, Community Change, Inc., and the Museum of African American History Boston.
