Automation is changing the nature of work, employee compensation, and income distribution. The African American Mayors Association released a paper on how cities can prepare their communities of color to anticipate and respond to the future of work–in particular, the effects of job automation. The paper, along with its three-city launch tour, aims to catalyze local leaders to coordinate resources, share best practices, and support education and workforce training programs.
