Developed by Harvard Law students of color in the early 90s, Building Educated Leaders for Life (BELL) fights for educational equality by delivering programs and trainings to help underserved communities help their students expand their educational opportunities. These programs do so through various means– summer learning programs and after school enrichments, to name a few, with the goal of increasing students’ literary and math skills, self-confidence, social skills, as well as parental engagement in students’ learning.
