The Student Immigrant Movement (SIM) is a MA-based statewide immigrant youth-led organization. SIM fights for the liberation of the undocumented community through the development of a network of immigrant youth organizers in high-density immigrant communities.

Example of their community justice framework:

SIM employs a decentralized “democratic centralist” model. That means that as long as you are a young immigrant (ages 13-30), and want to contribute to SIM in any kind of way, you are welcome to join.

Types of projects and programs:

  • Organize youth, ages 13-30
  • Provide political education and leadership training
  • Create safe healing spaces
